Surefire 6P LED Single Output LED Flashlight

Cheap Surefire 6P LED Single Output LED Flashlight Review

I bought the light over two years ago for always bring my people to work as a security officer.
I was not disappointed in his performance and durability in all that time.
It is so bright that it really is not a good idea to lighten it directly to someone you do not intend to obfuscate, as it is quite painful.
The light itself is small enough that it easily fits in the palm of the hand, with a somewhat fatter than a political Maglight Mini, but shorter thanMini Mag.
Construction is obese aircraft aluminum, solid enough that it probably would be wielded as a club in a dire situation of self defense.
Tailcap is an integrated switch mechanism, with a rubber covered buttons for fleeting, requiring that the entire tailcap is Rotated clockwise positive stop to keep the light on continuously.
Light dispersion is very uniform, no hot spot or ringing in the usual conventional flashlights.
As it is an LEDlight that uses lithium batteries, this light run time of over three hours of peer before it dropped from 80 to 50 Lumens, including running it in a large wider range of temperature than conventional incandescent / alkaline flashlights.

About the battery, users really need to know that the standard CR123A batteries for the camera (labeled "images" on the packaging) is not recommended for use in surefire flashlights, including this one, and can They damage the LEDassembly.
Also, rechargeable batteries 123A and can damage the LED.
Believe me, I know about rechargeables, as exactly that when I used it to me without having first studied myself, and they made the LED so dark I called no mistake about it.
The very nice customer service rep me know my mistakes, but he pointed that the lifetime warranty light contains cover it.
Naturally, I sent it back, and is back in a week with a newblazingly bright LED assembly, including a new set of batteries, so night the price of shipping it back to them.
Excellent service from surefire there.
The safest bet for the battery surefire will buy surefire brand batteries, either online (Amazon has some vendors it), or happen to know that Lowe's sells them for a fair price .
Sure the CR123A battery expensive?
Of course, but keep in mind CR123A lithium batteries last an incredibly long timeThis flashlight, and you want to run through many pair of AA alkaline batteries in a Mini Maglight the same time period, likely gives a slight cost advantage lithiums to AAS, including flashlight far away outclasses the Mini Maglight in terms of light.

This flashlight is so well made and reliable and that I trust my life day by day.
My only complaint is the stock tailcap does not have a click position, meaning you canjust get the lights to stay on by screwing it all the way, which requires two hands to use.
Surefire sell a separate replacement tailcap with click to stay in that allows use of a hand off to my tastes, you can buy it here: Sure-Fire Z59 Click-On Lock-Out Tailcap for C2 / C3 / d2 / D3 / G3 / M2 / M3 / M3T / M4 Flashlights

Many people carry this light in their pocket, purse or glovebox, but for those wishing to take it to the most practical way possible,Surefire also sells it remaining glass reinforced polymer holster: surefire V70 Speed holster Black
I had it for two years, and is still in perfect condition, a testament to his durability.
It also has sliding retainer belt preventing it from falling off the belt during bathroom breaks or when doffing your pants at the end of the day activities.
I can also say that it is so comfortable to carry the flashlight in holster that I honestly forgot it thoughsitting on my belt, until I need it, and then takes it effortlessly from the holster.

I love this flashlight, and I highly recommend it to about anyone, and I decided to keep mine for backup and use at home, but I decided to move to "defender version" of the flashlight, which which are identical, but clicking the button tailcap with it, including a crennelated "Strike Bezel" that can be used within a real attacker.
See the light here: surefire 6PDefender LED Flashlight 80 Lumens LED Crenullated Strike Bezel
The new flashlight is likely to save a life someday, and I am confident that it is up to the task.
