Surefire LED Weaponlight For Mossberg 500 and 590 Shotguns

Cheap Surefire LED Weaponlight For Mossberg 500 and 590 Shotguns Review

It is a great light gun forend and I highly recommend it for your Mossberg. But you must be aware of the limitations before you buy:

-If you have the 590A1 with bayonet lug, you have to grind off about half the drag before mounting forend

-You have a 12 gauge shotgun Forend wrench to install the forend. If you do not have one (~ $ 30), a gunsmith should be able to do it for you for around $ 20. So call and get prices from your smith as it mayis cheaper to purchase equipment and do it yourself (between "dot" com part # $ 723,227 22 + S & H)

-If you change your gun stock, it will change the dynamics of recoil and the back end of the light can effect your hand holding the forend. This can be compensated by changing your grip a little

-Model is not the one that you can disable the lights with a switch. However, it will include a panel that block half the ephemeral bar button

NOTE: I just gave itfour stars as it is fairly simple for the surefire forend to change to allow for the drag.

Enjoy!

Surefire LED Weaponlight For Mossberg 500 and 590 Shotguns Overview

The SureFire 623LF replaces the original forend of your Mossberg 590 shotgun (with bayonet lug removed) or your Mossberg 500 with 7 ¾-Inch forend tube. It features a high-efficiency LED emitter that is virtually immune to failure since there's no filament to burn out or break. Maximum output is 80 lumens, and it continues producing tactical-level light—enough to temporarily overwhelm the night-adapted vision of an aggressor—for over three hours per set of batteries. There are two separate switches integrated into the forend: a momentary-on pressure pad switch (right side) and a constant-on rocker switch (left side). A molded-in polymer high-friction pad enhances grip in wet or cold conditions. NOTE: Bayonet lug must be removed to mount this WeaponLight. FITS: Mossberg 590 w/o bayonet lug or Mossberg 500 w/ 7 3/4-Inch forend tube
