I looked at a couple of LED light sticks before my fishing partner found this stick Sylvania lite. This is by far the best and most cost effective we have seen the light stick. We use them in a salt water environment for our bouys marking mines while rolling. As to how long the battery will last, we are not sure. We probably only have 10 hours or so in the first set, but no sign of moisture or leakage degregation light. It really does not matter, the batteries are cheap on line.You can get them for about 18 cents each when you buy 200 or more. The light emission from the stick is increadable. They are 1.5 times brighter than the light we are using the sticks before. The on / off / blink switches are a little small, but the overall package is awesome. If I had to invent a light stick, I could not have done any better. Nice Job Sylvania.
